WebI should say I’m only 25 and have been listening to deathcore for only 8-9 years. I was never around to hear death metal from the 90’s or early 2000’s. I’ve tried getting into it but deathcore just sounds so much more creative and the lyrics are (most of the time) relatable instead of being all about blood and gore. I love a great breakdown but you don’t need them in every single song and they’re not the only thing about a song that matters. I don’t really care for breakdowns that are just 0s and 1s either.
